The new creation from Microsoft, the Holo-lens, seems like a doltish invention in my eyes. The article "beyond the screen" explained the device using minecraft, so I will as well. With the oncoming revolution in gaming, many brands are releasing devices to inhance player immersion, like the oculus rift, for example. In my eyes, walking around the living room, and building towers on the couch seems enticing, but then again, with this new mechanic comes obscuritys and limitations that ruin the true aspect of the game. Minecraft is a game that isn't designed for true immersion. After all, who wants to die from a creeper in real life? Over all, the advancement in gaming technology is ruining the aspect of gaming. The Holo-lens may seem like an amazing creation that shall improve video games forever, to me, it is nothing but yet another device to ruin entertainment.
